St. Luke's is looking for a Speech Language Pathologist to practice in our Audiologist-lead, multi-disciplinary Hearing & Balance clinics. This Speech Language Pathologist will treat adults and peds and will specialize in Aural Rehabilitation, Central Auditory Processing Disorder Therapy, and Listening and Spoken Language therapy.

Required Criteria

  • Valid license to practice speech language pathology in Idaho

  • Current CPR certification

This position will provide Speech and Language services to the Southwest Idaho Treatment Center – SWITC. SWITC is an ICF/ID residential facility for the intellectually and developmentally disabled. Applicants will be required to pass a criminal background investigation after a conditional offer of employment. The Idaho Department of Health & Welfare is a drug-free workplace. Any applicant offered employment in this position with our Department will be required to pass a pre-employment drug test. This position will be open until filled. Applicants are encouraged to apply as soon as possible in order to be considered. * Provides multifaceted speech and language services including evaluation monitoring, consultation, and direct therapeutic support to individuals experiencing developmental delays which may or may not be linked to established medical conditions. * Consults with and provides information and/or instruction to SWITC staff, clinical team and relevant stakeholders. * Conducts individual and group therapy assessments. * Participates in meetings with families and multidisciplinary treatment teams. * Develops and implements Individualized person-centered plans (PCP) as a member of a multidisciplinary team. * Provides training and information related to dysphagia and swallowing as it relates to client needs. * Licensure as a speech-language pathologist in accordance with Idaho Code 54-2913 or Provisional Permit in accordance with Idaho Code 54-2919. Additional Qualifications: Are not required; however, having the minimum qualifications and the education and/or experience below will increase your score. * Specialized training in developmental disabilities or (1) year of experience in treating persons with developmental disabilities. * A Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology. * Experience developing and establishing treatment goals for clients and in designing and/or modifying speech pathology treatment programs.
