Job Description

• Additionally, the Speech Language Pathologist will provide Speech Language Pathology services within an interdisciplinary environment consistent with the position's qualifications, professional practices, and ethical standards.

• Moreover, this individual will demonstrate accountability for, and contribution to, the Department's daily operations, including fulfilling charge duties as requested; exhibiting fiscal responsibility through accurate time-keeping of assigned work shifts (which includes compliance with management-designated start/end times); participation in program development and quality improvement activities as requested by management; and adherence to the Department's established productivity standards.

• All responsibilities will be carried out in a manner reflective of El Camino Health's We Care values and Medical Staff Code of Conduct and Professional Behavior.

• Position is enterprise-wide, employees will be required to float between campuses.

Qualifications

• Completion of Accredited Speech-Language Pathology Program

• Minimum of 3 years' experience; if working in NICU, at least one year experience in NICU care

License/Certification/Registration Requirements

• Current California Speech-Language Pathology License or current license applicant status.

• Certificate of Clinical Competence OR a clinical fellowship under supervision of a Speech-Language Pathologist on staff who has a Certificate of Clinical Competence as required by the State of California.

• Current BLS for Healthcare Provider

• CCS-Paneled or in process if working in NICU/OP Pediatrics

Ages of Patients Served

This position can serve the following age groups: neonate/child (0-3), child (4-12), adolescent (13-17), adult (18-64), and older adult (65+).

Salary Range:

$48.42 - $72.63 USD Hourly
