Sierra Foothills Academy is a K-12 Special needs education program with a small school environment, which enables us to work more hands on with our kids. Position Overview: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our dynamic team. As an SLPA, you will work closely with licensed Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide high-quality therapy services to our students. Responsibilities:
Assists licensed SLP in the implementation of individualized treatment plans for students with speech, language, and communication disorders.
Conducts therapy sessions under the supervision of an SLP, including articulation exercises, language activities, and social skills development.
Collaborates with SLP, educators, and other healthcare professionals to monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
Provides support with documentation, progress tracking, and administrative tasks as required.
Participates in team meetings, trainings, and continuing education opportunities to enhance skills and stay updated on best practices. As a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant, you will play a crucial role in helping our students overcome communication challenges. Your expertise will make a difference in the lives of our students by improving their ability to communicate.

Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Sciences and Disorders, or related field.
California state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA).
Previous experience working with individuals with speech and language disorders preferred.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Compassionate, student-centered approach to therapy.
