LICENSES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS: • AA/AS Degree in speech-language pathology assistant program or Bachelor's degree in a speech-language pathology or communication disorders program required • BA Degree in communicative disorders or related field (desired) • Credentials and/or Skills: Successful completion of a minimum of one hundred (100) hours of supervised field work experience or its clinical experience equivalent • Registration as a Speech Language Pathology Assistant with/State of California • Proficient in sign language (Desired) • Experience of one year or more working with children in a classroom setting (Desired) •Experience as a speech and language pathology assistant (Desired) *Experience working in an educational setting

Speech Language Pathologist Assistant - 8hrs/day, to provide district-wide support. PCN# 230045 Under the direction of the Director of Special Education and/or Special Education Program Coordinator, the Speech Language Pathologist Assistant provides services to identified pupils with speech and/or language disabilities. This is an itinerant position and will work at various sites and under the direction/supervision of various speech and language therapists.
