Position Summary:
Provides therapeutic care to patients and families that focuses on restoring, promoting or maintaining function and minimizing the effects of illness or disability.

Reports to: Clinical Services Manager


  • Master of Science Degree with a Certificate of Clinical Competency in Speech and Language Pathology from an accredited program.

  • Licensed to practice in Massachusetts. Experience Preferred

  • Minimum 1 year in acute care setting or comparable work experience.

  • Home Care experience.

VIEW JOBS 12/1/2018 12:00:00 AM 2019-03-01T00:00 Speech & Language Clinician Position near Worcester, MA POSITION SUMMARY: The Speech Language Pathologist work to provide educationally relevant speech and language services to students in Kindergarten through High School who are participating in the schools independent study program. The SLP maintains appropriate and required documentation of student services, develops consistent dialogue and motivational relationships with students/parent-families, promotes school policies and the 'individualized' learning procedures. The incumbent is expected to remain calm under pressure, work cooperatively with team members and others to provide the highest level of service possible and work in accordance with the Guiding Principles of the organization. DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES: * Scheduling students for speech/language therapy. * Conduct Case management and IEP's . * Provide intervention based on IEP goals. * Attend IEP meetings. * Collaborate and consult with teachers and other staff. * Interact with parents, teachers, school staff. * Write progress reports, IEPs, daily therapy notes. * Provide formal and informal assessment and screening as needed. * Ensure compliance with local, state and federal rules, regulations and mandates. * Keep abreast of changes in education and speech-language pathology through continuing education. * May perform other duties commensurate with the functions and level of the position. QUALIFICATIONS: * Must have a Master's Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders * Current Massachusetts state SLP credentials or eligible * School-based experience is preferred * Bilingual skills a plus, but not required for this position All applicants, please email your resumes to for immediate consideration.
