Job Summary

Position Summary: The speech and language pathology assistant (SLPA) assists the Speech and Language Pathologist (SLP) in providing direct speech therapy services to students with speech and language disorders as well as physical, emotional, and learning disabilities according to the students' Individualized Education Program (IEP). The SLPA will directly manage virtual and/or in-person therapy sessions for individuals and groups.

The SLPA is also responsible for all manner of preparation, documentation, data collection, study material creation, and consultation, as pertains to each individual student's IEP or the needs of the school. The SLPA will work under the supervision of the credentialed SLP and administrative designee.
