Spectrum Manager - Active Secret Clearance - Fort Meade, MD - On-Site - Direct Placement!

Zachary Piper Solutions is searching for a Spectrum Management Professional to provide direct support to our government customer through 100% on site work located at Fort Meade in Annapolis Junction, MD. Utilizing the necessary planning, research, analysis, assessment, documentation, and report presentation abilities, the Spectrum Manager works under little supervision to address difficult operational or predictive issues pertaining to communications systems or the spectrum management of CE systems.

Responsibilities for the Spectrum Management Professional include:

• Constructs and/or examines proposals for frequency assignments to see if they would cause technical issues with current frequency assignments if authorized

• Develops and/or examines proposals for frequency assignments to ensure they adhere to relevant policies, rules, and procedures; suggests corrective action when required. · Utilizes and comprehends the National Table of Frequency Allocations, diverse assignment plans, limitations, regulations, and procedures for granting authorization for frequency assignments

• Evaluates and requests frequencies using the MCEB PUB 7 standard frequency action structure. uses Spectrum XXI and the Government Master File (GMF) to carry out interference analysis, frequency nomination, and processing.

• Understanding the Federal Radio Frequency Management Manual published by the National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA) is necessary

• Provide spectrum management input to customers for obtaining foreign spectrum supportability of the equipment as required by acquisition law through the Host Nation Coordination procedures

Qualifications for the Spectrum Management Professional include:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with spectrum management (2 minimum) and working with frequency related work

• Bachelor's degree required, HS diploma with 9+ years of experience will be considered

• Must possess an Active Secret Security Clearance prior to start

• Experience or knowledge about Spectrum XXI., GMF, or NTIA experience required

• DOD experience or military background is a plus

Compensation for the Spectrum Management Professional includes:

• $115K/salary with yearly bonuses based on performance
