Job Description

Reporting directly to the department Supervisor, Mold Attendants are required to attend to and assist in the operations of injection Molding presses with proficiency while meeting quality, productivity, waste, cost and safety goals.

  • Ability to use computer to generate product tickets and to make data entry.

  • Ability to pack production parts the entire shift.

  • Responsible and accountable for: working safely around injection molding equipment, maintaining the expected product quality, achieving adequate production levels, keeping assigned areas clean, and maintaining plantwide 5S program.

  • Stay current with all departmental inspection procedures and standards. Responsible for the regular and periodic monitoring of product for acceptable quality to the most recent specification.

  • Assist supervisor with training programs for new employees.

  • Observe all safety and environmental procedures and Good Manufacturing Practices.

  • Work with limited supervision and maintain an atmosphere of cooperation among and between shifts, departments, mold technicians, quality control, and management to facilitate departmental goals.

  • Understand how to verify part containment is put on correctly, when there is a part containment problem, and what actions need taken to correct the problem

  • Able to work a 3/2/2/3 12 hour night shift

This job role requires the following or the ability to learn the following within 90 days of the employee's start date.

  • General knowledge of plastic materials and processes

  • Good knowledge of injection molding processes

  • Initiative and ability to work with limited supervision

Required Qualifications:

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED

  • Experience: 6 months of experience as Production associate, set-up role or equivalent

  • Vision Requirements:Depth Perception, Color Vision

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Injection Molding Training or Certification

  • Vocational / Technical School

  • Industrial Maintenance

VIEW JOBS 10/9/2020 12:00:00 AM 2021-01-07T00:00 Job Description Summary The Associate Director, Regional Market Access (AD RMA) is a very important customer-facing role that will work closely with the global market access leaders for each segment to understand and co-develop the market access strategy and tactical plan. The AD RMA is the key contact responsible for local market access and reimbursement related matters in the assigned region and will act as the reimbursement expert/problem solver for the field force and regional/national leadership. The AD RMA is required to establish new, or revise existing coverage policies for BD's portfolio of products through close partnership with commercial leadership and the ability to build relationships with key payer thought leaders. The position will be field based and have the assigned geography of the eastern half of the United States. Position will require frequent travel within territory and individual will need to reside near a major airport within territory. Exact location flexible Job Description * The AD RMA will be responsible for monitoring and evaluating the access and coverage landscape in their respective regions for assigned products and communicate and explain to internal stakeholders payer policy updates or system changes that impact product market access (e.g., prior authorizations, step edits, etc.) in assigned accounts. This role will be available to support all three BD business segments, and the position's initial focus will largely be within the Interventional and Integrated Diagnostic Solutions businesses. * Partner with business segment Market Access leaders within our Interventional (BDI) and Integrated Diagnostic Solutions (IDS) businesses to build strategic market access and reimbursement account plans based on segment/franchise business plans and objectives that will result in expanding favorable reimbursement positions for BD products. Focus on gaining coverage/adoption of key technologies with regional commercial health plans, Medicare Administrative Contractors (MACs) and State Medicaid Agencies * Collaborate with region sales leadership in assigned areas to build alliances with key thought leaders for targeted payer engagements, and address any practice or facility specific reimbursement challenges. * Portfolio accountability and account leadership for assigned payer customers in their local market of various customer types which will include health plans and MACs. Responsible for managing payer accounts (public and private) in a specific territory. Developing strong customer relationships is essential * Develop working relationships with state societies, associations and industry groups, as needed, to support patient access and raise overall awareness of BD's products * Ensure appropriate, compliant execution of the Market Access strategy covering launch/formulary placement and on-going access pull-through/formulary by communicating the product's payer value story * Support field team (medical affairs and sales) in identifying clinician advocates (KOLs) to support and further initiatives impacting payers, associations and government policy * Exercise sound judgment and oversight to ensure integrity and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations as well as corporate policies in all activities and communications Experience and Education * BA/BS degree required, MBA, Advanced degree or other equivalent experience preferred * Possess a strong understanding of Commercial payers, Medicare plans and state Medicaid in geographic region. * Thorough understanding of market access pathways in the US, including but not limited to: pharmacy and medical benefits as well as clinical laboratory diagnostics. * Prior customer facing account management experience is necessary with demonstrated ability to develop strong relationships with key decision makers in target accounts * Existing relationships with key decision makers within various payer segments within region is preferred * Deep understanding of government and third party payer reimbursement mechanisms for various market channels including but not limited to the Physician Office (including laboratories), Hospital Systems, Urgent Care Systems and Accountable Care Organizations. * Understanding of the local changing landscape including consolidation and integration of payer customers with focus on different operating models, quality, outcomes and risk-bearing partnerships and ability to leverage this knowledge to exceed business objectives. * At least 3-5 years of relevant industry experience, preferably in medical device/diagnostics, with a proven track record of contributing to growth through shaping favorable payment pathways and securing reimbursement status for health care products * Comprehensive understanding of legal and regulatory issues impacting the medical device and diagnostic industry around pricing, reimbursement and communications to formulary decision makers * Must be able to work independently with minimal oversight and direction, to anticipate needs from leadership and other stakeholders, and to balance multiple and often diverse priorities in order to align on a strategic and appropriate plan * Ability to communicate effectively and lead without authority * Analytical, problem solving and persuasive abilities to develop and implement regional strategic plans * Excellent oral and written communication capabilities that have been leveraged with external customers, internal stakeholders and senior leadership * Excels in a fast-paced, results-driven, highly accountable environment where you can make a clear impact Becton, Dickinson and Company is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
