Specialty Technician - Part Time - Nights

Description Job Summary: Performs specific patient care activities and non-professional services, under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse, necessary to meet personal, physical and emotional needs of the neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult or geriatric patient and family, consistent with the philosophy, goals, policies and procedures of the Nursing Department and Medical Center Administration.

Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide appropriate date to the age of patient served on the nursing unit or by patient care department. JOB QUALIFICATIONS Education : Requires high school diploma or equivalent; general knowledge of high school subject matter possibly including sciences, simple medical procedures or terminology, or office equipment. BLS healthcare provider certification preferred.

Successful completion of Certified Nurse Aide Training Program or proof of current certification. Experience : Practically no experience required. Could rely on education and knowledge required for employment.

Three to six months required for learning period. Must successfully complete Nursing Orientation. License : N/A Working Conditions:
