Assignment
This is a 52 week contract working with the VA Central Arkansas health care to help provide care to Veterans in critical need for certain specialty areas such as ICU/PACU/Cath Lab/Bronch, Emergency Department, Oncology (Chemo Certified), CLC, or Med Surg. There is potential to extend each year for up to 5 years in total.

Position Summary
The RN will utilize broad-based clinical knowledge to effectively assess, implement health promotion and prevention interventions, manage acute and chronic illness states, assist patient/residents in the attainment of optimal levels of functioning rehabilitation, evaluate patient/resident response to actual or potential health problems, and provide supportive measures for dying patient/resident and their significant others. Nursing care is performed in accordance with the Arkansas Registered Nurses Practice Act and within the individual nurse's scope of license.

Operating Room RN
Emergency Department RN
Intensive Care Unit RN
Dialysis RN
Cardiac Catheterization Lab/Electrophysiology RN
Graduate of a professional, accredited nursing school approved by the appropriate State at the time the program was completed.
Current, full, active, and unrestricted license for any state or commonwealth to practice as a Registered Nurse
Working knowledge of EMR/EHR systems and general technology.
Active BLS and ACLS certification.
US Citizenship required.
Successful completion of any necessary federal background check and VA credentialing polices.
This job is CONTINGENT upon contract award, client approval, completion of a favorable background investigation, and the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust / High Risk clearance.
