Job Description:

As the Senior Manager for Specialty Manufacturer Implementations, you will build and lead the overall implementation process for pharmaceutical manufacturing contracts. You will manage and develop a team and have the opportunity to utilize your client relationship and project management skills to ensure successful launch of Pharma Manufacturers. You will be the primary client contact and project manager from contract execution through client go-live and you are seen as a key member of CVS Health's Specialty account services team.

As the Senior Manager, you will foster teamwork and a supportive departmental culture with an emphasis on ensuring exceptional client service. You will identify and implement departmental standard methodologies to ensure your team's success.

The build-out of the implementation plan will require an end to end understanding of the customer and patient experience, as well as internal operations and process flows. You will be involved in the determination of KPIs and build-out of dashboards to measure and track implementation success and sustainability. Key indicators & lagging indicators will be identified to trigger process changes. Standard Operating Procedures will be documented as the plan is rolled out and processes are enhanced.

Ongoing implementation management will include Project Plan maintenance, weekly update calls, and ongoing management of Risk/Opportunities within the implementation to track progress through to completion.

In this high impact, critical role, you will ensure delivery of customer requirements, through timely and accurate documentation and effective management of cross-functional partners to meet key deliverables.

You will:

  • Develop efficient policies and procedures to enhance your teams efficiency and opportunity for success

  • Manage your team to accomplish or exceed all Key Performance Objectives and ensure all of CVS' Core Values are met

  • Train, mentor and provide leadership to team members to serve as the single point of contact to external business partners: lead initiatives and triage issues internally for successful resolution.

  • Deliver a high quality, on-time client implementation as identified by the completion of the Implementation process and procedures through development of project plans and milestones to execute on tasks.

  • Contribute to assigned process improvement activities through participation in assigned process improvement initiative projects

  • Identify process improvement opportunities providing proactive, strategic solutions

  • Support special projects & pipeline related activities

To be successful, you will work cross functionally and independently to proactively manage project risks while meeting all contractual requirements and ensuring on-time delivery of client requirements, operational and sales readiness for a successful Implementation. Your communication skills and ability to build relationships with our clients, as well as other internal partners in the organization, in order to execute on providing superior customer services and implementations is key.

You will quickly build a thorough understanding of the Specialty business and your success will be measured by an on-time delivery of client requirements with limited interruption.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Advanced with spreadsheets, databases and presentation software, including a strong working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint.

  • Strong leadership skills with a high level of initiative and team accountability are required

  • Highest level of attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, adjusting priorities as needed, and meeting deadlines.

  • Analytical and strategic decision-making skills, and experience applying these skills to resolve business and process issues

Required Qualifications

  • 6 years of client relationship management experience, with proven client implementation and project management experience

  • Management experience required.

  • Ability and flexibility to travel 25%-40%.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certification in Project Management

  • Healthcare/PBM industry experience

  • Client relationship management experience within a healthcare/PBM, account services, customer service, non-IT client implementations, or related industry.

Education

  • Bachelors degree required; equivalent work experience may be considered.
