In this highly visible role, you will be creating revenue from Retail Merchandising Units (RMU'S). long and short-term Kiosks, Vending and Temporary In-Line Stores (TILS). This position will oversee the Specialty Leasing for the Westfarms Shopping Center as well as Stamford Town Center.. Main work location could be at either Center.
Your day to day responsibilities will include
Maximizing revenue, prospecting and canvassing for new tenants on a weekly basis and prospecting out-of-state at least one time per month
Merchandising the common area and TILS program in a manner that's complimentary to the Leasing/Merchandising plan and cotenants
Communicating on an ongoing basis with retailers for the purpose of increasing sales
Negotiating terms to meet target/update expectations
Creating all license agreements, maintaining current insurance certificates and adhering to visual merchandising standards
Coordinating with Tenant Coordination, Planning and Design, etc. for the planning and design of new/modified RMU, Kiosk and Vending locations
Maintaining and updating monthly sales reports, occupancy reports and prospecting calendars
Completing and/or supporting the annual and quarterly budgeting process for both temporary in-line stores and common areas.
Creating and updating recommendations for the RMU, Kiosk and TILS annual budget, weekly/monthly rent rolls and quarterly updates
The ideal candidate will have
Minimum 5 years of strong sales, negotiation and closing experience (retail experience preferred)
Ability to close deals/lease space within strict timeframes and deadlines
Ability to travel when needed
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
