This position assists the Specialty Manager in coordinating the overall Specialty operations of the Auction, maintaining positive relationships with Specialty customers and providing quality service.
Coordinate the daily operation of Specialty operations, including the completion of quality RV and Boats repair prior to sale and supervising and directing the work of specialty operations employees.
Assist manager, in coordination with the location's transportation department, with managing and directing the efficient movement, pick-up and delivery of specialty pieces and consignment vehicles to and from the auction, utilizing the appropriate transportation resources.
Coordinate with Front Office in the preparation of titles, contracts, pre and post-sale reports as required by consignor and ensure work is completed accurately and timely, charges are correctly posted, and records are maintained according to contract requirements.
Coordinate the work of specialty employees by determining work procedures, preparing work schedules, expediting the workflow, assigning duties and examining work for accuracy and conformance to policies and procedures.
Visibly demonstrate safety commitment by following all safety and health procedures and modeling the behaviors related to such. Actively participate in support of all safety activities aligned with Safety Excellence.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
1 - 3 years of experience in the boat and RV industry or auction business preferred.
Strong communication and interaction skills required.
Competent management and excellent organizational skills required.
Good computer and software knowledge.
Valid driver's license and good driving record required.
Ability to drive vehicles with standard and automatic transmission.
