You're a nurse, a patient advocate and an educatorand you excel at every one of them.
If there's one thing your years of clinical training and patient education have taught you, it's how to manage priorities, and move seamlessly from one challenge to the next. You get people to listen to your wise advice, and to overcome their fears of new and existing medical therapies by instilling confidence and sharing expertise while displaying passion. It's time to turn those diverse talents to an exciting new field, and become an integral part of the Clinical Education team with Syneos Health.
In this role, the focus of the Educator team should be on educational activities that support disease understanding and increase knowledge about the safe and effective use of our clients medicines
As part of our clients commitment to patients, the Specialty Educator will execute Patient Education Programs, providing supplemental information about a medicine that has already been prescribed and/or the related disease that is within scope for that medicine.
As guided by approved resources, engagements with HCPs may include educational discussions about:
Disease information to support better understanding of disease state and appropriate adherence to medicines. Disease state information shared must be aligned to a condition treated by a medicine, and with such information to be consistent with the FDA-approved label for that medicine
Clinical and/or product information to support new patients getting started on a medicine and that supports its safe and effective use in patients
As guided by approved resources, engagements with patients may include educational discussions about:
For those patients identified (post-prescription) by the HCP as interested in receiving supplemental educational information from the client, Educators may engage with those patients to obtain the required consents to participate in the Patient Education Program(s) and to deliver the Patient Education Program(s). The associated HCP/Account will coordinate scheduling of patients.
For those patients that self-identify and request (post-prescription) supplemental educational information from the client, Educators may engage with that patient to coordinate scheduling/logistics of a Patient Education Program, obtain the required consents to participate in the Patient Education Program(s), and deliver the Patient Education Program(s).
