Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Patient/Caregiver Teaching: Provide age-appropriate patient/family/caregiver education.
Patient Intake & Documentation: Prepare exam rooms, assist patients, document care.
CLIA-Waived Lab Testing: Perform lab tests, maintain compliance with regulations.
Administer Diagnostic Tests: Conduct in-office tests under supervision.
Assist During Exams & Procedures: Aid providers, perform documentation duties.
Vaccination Programs: Administer childhood and adult vaccines as per guidelines.
Medication Prior Authorizations: Handle medication prior authorizations.
Medication Injections: Administer injections under supervision.
Inventory Control: Monitor and order medical supplies, ensure compliance.
Back-up Receptionist: Provide reception coverage, follow office protocols.
Incident Reporting: Report variances, near misses, patient complaints via online system.
EHR Management: Process electronic documents, maintain EHR accuracy.
General Duties: Ensure safety, security, and patient satisfaction; relay information as needed.
Job Requirements:
Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing school, eligible for Idaho state nursing licensure.
Licensure/Certifications: LPN or RN license, Basic Life Support (BLS), MOAB Training.
Experience: Proficient with computers, office systems; experience in a medical office preferred.
Skills/Abilities: Current nursing practices knowledge, excellent communication, customer service, organizational skills, ability to work independently.
