What you'll be doing...


The Small to Medium Business (SMB) Specialists partner with the retail and B2B sales teams and will utilize solution-based selling techniques to fully demonstrate the value of Verizon Wireless products and services. The Specialist will travel between retail locations including onsite visits to customer locations and trade shows. This position will be responsible for generating new business in L Street Location

  • Omaha, NE/ Lincoln Crossing

  • Lincoln, NEthrough prospecting, cold calling, networking and generating leads and referrals. This position requires flexibility with schedule and time as business needs dictate.

Throughout the assigned territory, the SMB team will be responsible for prospecting small business. The SMB team will also work closely with their assigned retail teams throughout the market to train, cultivate and close leads.

Participate in networking activities and perform research to generate lead development.

Work with each location to represent the company at trade association meetings to promote Verizon Wireless and increase presence in the community by developing relationships through chambers of commerce and grassroots efforts with different segments.

Provide multi-store support to ensure that customers and prospective customers are treated with the highest levels of courtesy and professionalism, constantly improving the overall customer experience.

Resolve customer complaints in a timely and empathetic manner.

What we're looking for...


  • 2-5 years experience performing customer service, marketing or sales functions preferably within wireless industry

  • Previous experience in developing and coaching a high performance team desired

  • Demonstrated cold calling ability

  • Superior organizational, interpersonal, communication, negotiation, staff development and operations skills are required.

  • This position requires the ability to meet aggressive deadlines, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, customer and team-oriented work environment.

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience preferred.

  • Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills required.

  • Ability to present to various audiences.

  • Ability to work well independently and in a team environment.

  • Must have a clean driving record.

Corroborates patients clinical history with procedure, assuring information is documented and available for use by licensed practitioner. Prepares patient for procedures, provides instruction to obtain desired results, gains cooperation, and minimizes anxiety. Prepares, calculates, identifies and/or administers radioactive isotope as prescribed by licensed practitioner. Assumes responsibility for provision of physical and psychological needs of patients during procedures. 2. Selects and operates radiation detection, imaging, and associated equipment to successfully perform procedures. Positions patient and equipment to best demonstrate the anatomic area of interest, respecting patient ability and comfort. Immobilizes patients as required for appropriate examination. 3. Applies principles of radiation protection to minimize exposure to patient, self, and others. Evaluates images and data for technical quality, assuring proper identification is recorded. 4. Provides patient education. Provides practical instruction for students and other health care professionals. 5. Assists in maintaining records, respecting confidentiality and established policies. 6. Provides input for equipment purchases and supply decisions. Responsible for control of inventory and purchase of supplies for the Nuclear Medicine area. Assumes responsibility for assigned area and reports equipment malfunction. 7. Maintains knowledge of and observes Universal precautions. Practices aseptic and isolation techniques as required. Initiates basic life support action when necessary SHIFT: 8:00am - 4:30pm (32 hours a week) Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required Education Knowledge of Nuclear Medicine principles and procedures, as well as operation and maintenance of equipment at a level normally acquired through completion of post high school training in an accredited nuclear medicine program or equivalent. Must hold current Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in nuclear medicine, or the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board, or the American Society of Clinical Pathologists or equivalent. License/Certification Required to be certified in CPR (BLS - Basic Life Support through the American Heart Association) Experience Understands methods and is capable of performing venipuncture's. Approximately three-to-six months on-the-job necessary to become familiar with hospital routines, procedures, policies, and floor plan. Skills Interpersonal skills necessary in order to interact effectively (e.g., inform about procedures, calm fears) with patients who may be under physical and/or emotional stress and gather and exchange routine patient information with nursing personnel and physicians. Analytical skills necessary to determine the best method of providing requested studies based on the individual patient, equipment, and requested examination to ensure clear and undistorted images for diagnosis, and proper filing of films. Ability to concentrate and pay close attention to detail (for up to 50% of work time) when filing or marking films. Physical Demands Ability to lift (up to 50 pounds) hold and position patients (up to 50% of work time) and remain on feet (up to 85% of work time) when performing duties such as transporting patients, taking images, making ready radiopharmaceuticals, and processing films.
