Purpose:

Minimum Eligibility Requirements:
One year of relevant work experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment is preferred
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Excellent organizational skills and logical thinking
Must possess excellent customer service skills and work well under pressure
Computer experience with Microsoft Office preferred
Yard Management System experience preferred
Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, and work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work independently, and/or within a team, across all levels and diverse cultures
Must pass pre-employment background check
Essential Job Functions:
Check-in/out truck drivers using Yard Management System
Coordinate warehouse and transportation shipping schedules
Perform inbound trailer inspections to ensure compliance with security protocol
Handle and resolve conflict
Maintain clean, safe, efficient work environment
Other duties may be assigned as appropriate and in accordance with business needs
Working Conditions (travel & environment)
This position is hourly, knowing it may include hours which exceed eight hours in a day or forty hours in a week. Working hours are subject to change due to business needs and working am and/or pm flexible shifts.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to a warehouse environment and moving vehicles. The noise level in the work environment is typically moderate to noisy.
