Position Overview:

As a Specialist, Full Stack Software Engineer supporting our company's Manufacturing Division, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the development, maintenance, and support of software applications within the Manufacturing Division at our company. Working closely with a team of professionals, you will utilize your skills in both front-end and back-end development to deliver high-quality solutions that allow our company to optimize it's production of life saving medicines from our factories around the globe.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Full Stack Development: Collaborate with the team to design, develop, and maintain software applications using a combination of front-end and back-end technologies. This includes building user interfaces, implementing server-side logic, and integrating with databases and APIs.

  • Front-end Skills: Utilize your understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to create intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces. Experience with React is desired.

  • Back-end Skills: Apply your proficiency in programming languages such as Node.js, Go, or Python to implement server-side logic and business processes.

  • Database Skills: Work with databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Redshift to store and retrieve data. Understand SQL queries and database design principles.

  • API Integration: Collaborate with team members to integrate applications with internal services and APIs using RESTful web services. Familiarity with API design principles and implementation is advantageous.

  • Cloud Deployment: Configure cloud environments and deploy applications into AWS cloud environment.

  • Testing and Debugging: Perform unit testing, integration testing, and assist in troubleshooting to ensure software quality and reliability. Contribute to identifying and resolving issues during the development cycle.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including developers, product managers, and project managers. Communicate effectively, participate in discussions, and contribute to the successful delivery of projects.

  • Documentation: Assist in creating and maintaining technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, design specifications, and user guides. Ensure documentation is up-to-date and accessible for the team.

  • Learning and Growth: Take advantage of the cooperative education experience to learn from experienced professionals, including company supported training and professional development opportunities.

Education:

Required: High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred: BS in Computer Science/Data Science or related field

Language Requirement

  • English business fluent

Experience and Skills:

  • Two (2)+ years' experience with back-end programming languages such as node.js, Go or Python required

  • Basic understanding of RESTful web services and API integration required.

  • Experience with SQL query language required.

  • Two (2)+ years' experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript and React is a plus.

  • Experience deploying solutions in AWS is a plus.

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

  • Enthusiasm for learning, adapting, and contributing to a dynamic work environment.

  • Demonstrated interest in Software Engineering/Development

U.S. Hybrid Work Model

Effective September 5, 2023, employees in office-based positions in the U.S. will be working a Hybrid work consisting of three total days on-site per week, generally Tuesday, Wednesday and either Monday or Thursday, although the specific days may vary by site or organization, with Friday designated as a remote-working day, unless business critical tasks require an on-site presence. This Hybrid work model does not apply to, and daily in-person attendance is required for, field-based positions; facility-based, manufacturing-based, or research-based positions where the work to be performed is located at a Company site; positions covered by a collective-bargaining agreement (unless the agreement provides for hybrid work); or any other position for which the Company has determined the job requirements cannot be reasonably met working remotely. Under New York State, Colorado State, Washington State, and California State law, the Company is required to provide a reasonable estimate of the salary range for this job. Final determinations with respect to salary will take into account a number of factors, which may include, but not be limited to the primary work location and the chosen candidate's relevant skills, experience, and education.

Expected salary range:

$83,100.00 - $130,900.00
