L3Harris is seeking to hire a Front-end Software Engineer to join the IEI (Intelliearth Integrator). The User Interface (UI) team creates and extends the IEI User Interface by modifying and extending the code base. Work with Technical Lead (TL) and Subject Matter Experts (SME) to provide a feature rich and consistent look and feel. This role will work primarily in web technologies like HTML, Javascript, ExtJS.

Essential Functions:

• Create new IEI app user interface

• Maintain/extend existing IEI UI components.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 5 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.

• Experience in any of the UI frameworks such as Extjs, React, Angular, Vue, etc. Extjs is strongly preferred.

• Experience with Front-end testing framework like Jasmine, selenium, etc.

• Good understanding of front-end software design patterns such as synchronicity, promises, etc.

• Good understanding of AJAX and JavaScript Dom manipulation.

• Good understanding of RESTful web services development and integration.

• Experience working with external libraries.

• Experience with OpenLayers for geospatial/pixel mapping.

• Experience with JointJS for workflow diagrams.

• Experience with AmCharts for charting/visualizations.

• Experience with Asciidoctor for document editing and processing.

• Experience with SwaggerUI for API documentation.

Preferred Additional Skills:

• Eligible for a security clearance.

• Experience with SQL and relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL.

• Experience with the use of Agile practices/methodologies (Scrum).

• Experience with Version Control Systems (GIT).

• Experience with Java/Python/Groovy.

• Experience working in Linux/Unix environment.

• Experience with collaboration software like Bitbucket or Gitlab.

• Experience with web programming IDEs, preferably Netbeans.

• Experience with continuous integration (CI) software like Jenkins.

• Experience with Java build tools, preferably Maven.

• Experience in debugging code using developer tools.

• Experience working with Amazon Web Services (AWS), Docker, Kubernetes.

• Experience with geospatial data and satellite imagery.

• Experience with NITF/TIFF imagery.

• Experience with GeoJSON.

• Experience with OGC web services like WFS/WMS.
