Job Description:

The Geospatial Solutions Business Unit is seeking a Program Finance Specialist to support programs within the Integrated Processing & System Analytics (IPSA) Business Area. This position will be responsible for supporting program controls, orders, sales, profit, and cash flow forecasting, invoice reconciliations, and various additional ad hoc analysis. The financial analyst acts as a business partner to their program team and must be comfortable operating within a matrix organizational structure and having frequent interactions with other functions including program management, supply chain, engineering, and contracts management.

The selected candidate will perform the following duties. Additional duties may be required:

  • Program Finance: Participates in the planning and implementation of a sound financial review and control function to assist Program Management and Core Team in executing program cost control responsibilities.

  • Develops an effective team relationship and provides needed support to Integrated Product Team Leaders (IPTs)/Work Flow Managers and/or Project Managers.

  • Assists in the development and documentation of the Project's baseline plan.

  • Prepares manpower and dollar budgets for all functional elements (WBS) contributing cost input to the program and establishes and implements approved budgets.

  • Reviews cost factors to ensure consistency with company policy and past and current actual performance levels.

  • Assists the Program Manager and team in handling daily operating problems as they affect program costs and the overall financial position.

  • Ability to complete special assignments as required, such as preparation of program/financial detailed reports.


  • BS/BA in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration with 4 plus years experience, Masters or MBA with 2 plus years experience; or equivalent.
  • 2 plus years with a combination of the following Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MPM, PeopleSoft / JAMIS, Hyperion/HFPSI, ProPricer.

Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Strong interpersonal skills and be capable of interfacing and forming working relationships with the senior management staff

  • Strong communication skills (oral, written, listening); should be capable of making presentations to internal customers and management

  • Organizational skills and be capable of prioritizing and executing multiple tasks

  • Active TS/SCI clearance, (EXP) or ability to obtain one.
