The Division Reliability Specialist serves as the South Division's focal point for the development and execution of the company's physical asset management program relative to compression and pump equipment. This program is intended to provide a long-term strategy and tactics to achieve desired equipment performance and reliability in a safe and compliant manner. The program consists of a comprehensive, systematic and integrated approach using various maintenance and operational elements such as preventative maintenance; predictive maintenance, condition monitoring, performance monitoring and root cause failure analysis.
The primary technical areas include:
1.Physical Asset Management - works with other Division Specialists to provide support to the Teams on identification and completion of tasks to support the PAM program objectives.
2.Engine Reliability - monitors reliability data (Run Hours, Unit Availability) and supports field teams in resolving issues that impact reliability.
3.Mechanical Performance and Health Program - supports the Division EA's by providing procedures, technical expertise, troubleshooting, training, and technology development/application.
4.Engine/Compressor performance - monitors performance and provides technical solutions and/or support for problem resolution to achieve optimal engine and compressor performance.
5.Engine/Compressor maintenance provides support to resolve complex maintenance issue/problems and designs comprehensive maintenance approaches to optimize resources and overall effectiveness. This includes being the Project Manager for assigned capital maintenance projects.
This position is responsible for supporting all facilities within the South Division.
The Division Reliability Engineer reports to the Director of Technical Operations.
Qualified candidates possess a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and 2 years of experience in gas transmission or related field; or a minimum of ten years experience involving mechanical operations support, equipment analyzing and engine reliability.
Candidate expected to have operation, maintenance, and administrative experience. Effective written & verbal communication, as well as interpersonal skills to work in a collaborative environment.
Candidate must be a self-starter, have good organizational skills, and be able to accept constantly changing priorities. Should be a good communicator and work planner with excellent work ethics. Willingness to work in an environment where compensation is tied to performance and skill level.
Candidate must have good computer skills in Excel, Word, Power Point, Infor EAM, and SAP. Previous experience in conducting group training sessions is a plus.
The Division Mechanical Specialist is required to live within 45 minutes of the reporting location. Incumbent is subject to call out 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and extended work-days and/or work-weeks.
Required to carry a cell phone, and is subject to 24-hr/day callouts at any time for emergency response. Ability to travel is required and may be extensive, at times. Candidate must have a proven safe driving record. Paid relocation is negotiable.
