Specialist Pharmacist - Cancer - 3 Month Contract (Band 8A)

Clarity is recruiting for a SpecialistPharmacist- Cancer for an NHS contract in Derby

What you need to know:

This is a temporary contract starting 1st May until 1st August 2024. 9am- 5:30pm  Monday to Friday

• Provide specialist pharmaceutical care to oncology patients, including chemotherapy, targeted therapy, and supportive care medications.
• Review and optimise medication regimens, considering factors such as efficacy, safety, and patient-specific parameters.
• Participate in patient consultations, providing information and counselling on medication use, side effects, and adherence.

• Registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
• Previous experience working as a pharmacist within an NHS aseptic unit
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.
• Knowledge of NHS policies and procedures.
