Compiles and analyzes financial information for a business unit. Develops integrated revenue/expense analyses, projections, reports, and presentations. Creates and analyzes monthly, quarterly, and annual reports and ensures financial information has been recorded accurately. Identifies trends and developments in competitive environments and presents findings to senior management. Performs financial forecasting and reconciliation of internal accounts. Performs varied work assignments with limited supervision. Conducts and documents moderately complex financial analysis projects. Brings inconsistencies and problems to the attention of management. Provides accurate Program Cost information monthly to Finance and Value Stream Management on a timely basis.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for analyzing and communicating monthly value stream results through a monthly revenue recognition review and management activities, including compliance, analysis and reporting.

  • Responsible for assisting with the completion of Annual Budgets and Forecasts, primarily with a focus on balance sheet and overhead accounts. Work closely with Program Management Office personnel to access applicability and tracking of associated revenue recognition orders.

  • Assist with creation of WBS (Work Breakdown Structure) set up for sales orders.

  • Works with government accountant to maintain labor rate tables and process labor corrections.

  • Responsible for monitoring, reporting and processing reserve accounts as assigned.

  • Responsible for completing assigned month end journal entries along with associated reconciliations and reports.

  • Develop and maintain analytical tools to support financial analysis, as well as modeling in support of balance sheet forecasting including cash flow.

  • Responsible for monitoring, reporting and interfacing with FSS (Financial Shared Services) and PMO team for accounts receivable collections activities.

  • Support assigned department cost center managers for budgeting, analysis and other financial requirements.

  • Assist with annual eSOX assessment and/or testing.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications/Experience:

  • 4+ years experience in Finance/Accounting

  • SAP experience required

  • HFM (Hyperion) experience preferred.

  • Revenue recognition experience preferred.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;

  • Sarbanes-Oxley experience and understanding preferred

Education/Certifications:

  • Candidates for this role should possess a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fields and four years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced degree and three years of prior relevant experience

This position is for an experienced Materials Planning and SIOP professional who is responsible for the supply and demand planning process, and for making moderate improvements to systems and processes to enhance performance of work area and team. Works with internal team to develop financial forecasts. Primary Responsibilities: * Lead and facilitate the sites SIOP process. * Work cross functionally to prepare the associated defined inputs of the SIOP process and to execute the associated SIOP output actions. * Coordinate, prepare and facilitate the sales/demand review with Programs and Business Analytics, insuring open order backlog integrity. Review current known demand along with forecasted and potential demand, utilizing demand management techniques as necessary to achieve optimal demand plan. Deliver a business level demand plan over defined time horizon as input into the SIOP process. * Coordinate, prepare and facilitate the production review with Operations, Planning, Supply Chain and Business Analytics, insuring MRP plan integrity. Review current known production work orders and planned orders, and provide visibility of impact of forecasted and potential demand. Address capacity and manpower concerns as necessary. Deliver a production plan over defined time horizon as input into the SIOP process. * Coordinate, prepare and facilitate the inventory review with Planning, Supply Chain and Finance. Review impact of actual and planned receipts to support the Production and Sales plans over defined time horizon as input into the SIOP process. Incorporate the impact of medium and long term supply chain concerns as necessary (i.e. supply disruptions, obsolescence). * Lead and facilitate the Senior Leadership Team SIOP Review meeting. * Coordinate and support roll-up of site SIOP into Business Unit SIOP and subsequent flow down of Business Unit SIOP outputs.
