Overall Job Summary
This position is responsible for assisting the assigned Omni Channel Merchant Team in the execution of all merchandising responsibilities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Min 5%)
Manage Product Content set-up and communication. Own submitting all jobs to the product content team and vendors for item builds. Advise vendors of data standards and processes for item building. Utilize ATLAS, product information management system, as the primary tool for item building and content collection. Determine opportunities for process improvements and future systems enhancements to aid in product set up.
Manage vendor set up for new Direct to Consumer vendors. Determine the necessary documents required for set up by interpreting the business needs of the partnership. Work directly with VMD, Legal and vendors to resolve any issues during vendor set up.
Own submitting all SKU maintenance needs inclusive but not limited to retail changes, cost changes, RP coding changes and vendor # updates. Serve as an active participant in the TSC Data Steward Program by consistently representing the line of business as the DATA Expert, while readily adopting and ensuring the Master Data Governance Program's mission, processes and procedures as they mature and evolve.
Conduct competitive analysis to determine opportunities for assortment growth and pricing. Report out on findings to the merchandising team. Utilize the Competitive Pricing Tool to recommend and set selling retails.
Participate in marketing planning and execution. Complete promo price loading and verifying price ownership. Proof ads in stage environment to ensure offers and links are correct.
Maintain weekly tracking dashboard for new vendors and new SKUs going live on the website. Provide Quarterly Update in the Omni Business Review for the Assortment Expansion initiative.
Monitor product inventory levels for both drop ship and DC stocked products. Conduct audits on DTC inventory feeds to ensure items are in-stock on the website. Manage Omni OHNO report for Franklin DC inventory.
Build and maintain strong vendor and cross functional relationships through timely communication and follow up.
Address department emails and phone calls from stores, CSC and customers with questions on information on the website. Assess the inquiry and develop a plan for a timely resolution.
Required Qualifications
Experience: 2 - 4 years of related experience preferred. Retail experience preferred.
Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university. Any suitable combination of education and experience will be considered.
Preferred knowledge, skills or abilities
Proficient in Microsoft Office required, particularly in Excel.
Good interpersonal, organizational, communication and analytical skills.
Detail-oriented approach to daily activities.
Ability to work in an ever-changing environment with efficiency and accuracy.
