Work You'll Do

SPECIALIST MASTER, CLOUD ENGINEERING, CORE BUSINESS OPERATIONS. LEAD THE CREATION OF INNOVATIVE AND TRANSFORMATIVE CLOUD-BASED TECHNOLOGY SOLUTIONS FOR NETWORK TRANSFORMATION PROJECTS BY CREATING EFFECTIVE IT VISIONS, STRATEGIES AND ROADMAPS, IN DIRECT ALIGNMENT AND SUPPORT OF BUSINESS AND TECHNOLOGY OBJECTIVES.

MANAGE THE DESIGN AND IMPLEMENTATION OF LARGE-SCALE DATA ECOSYSTEMS INCLUDING DATA MANAGEMENT, GOVERNANCE AND THE INTEGRATION OF STRUCTURED AND UNSTRUCTURED DATA, UTILIZING ENTERPRISE NETWORKING TECHNOLOGIES, TOOLS AND PROCESSES, INCLUDING ROUTING AND SWITCHING, L4-7 TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT (E.G. LOAD BALANCING), FIREWALLS, DATACENTER FABRIC, AS WELL AS NETWORKING PROTOCOLS. MANAGE THE DELIVERY OF COMPREHENSIVE NETWORK TRANSFORMATION PROJECTS; TO ACHIEVE THE MOST OUT OF THE EXISTING INFRASTRUCTURE AND GUIDE MULTI-YEAR TRANSFORMATIONS.

LEAD ASPECTS OF THE PROPOSAL DEVELOPMENT PROCESS AND CONTRIBUTE TO THE DEVELOPMENT OF PROPOSAL PRICING STRATEGIES. 80% TRAVEL REQUIRED NATIONALLY. TELECOMMUTING PERMITTED.

REQUIRES A BACHELORS DEGREE (OR FOREIGN EQUIVALENT) IN COMPUTER SCIENCE, ENGINEERING (ANY), INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY OR A RELATED FIELD AND FIVE (5) YEARS OF PROGRESSIVE RELATED WORK EXPERIENCE IN THE JOB OFFERED OR IN A RELATED OCCUPATION. IN THE ALTERNATIVE, THE EMPLOYER WILL ACCEPT 3 YEARS OF UNIVERSITY STUDY AND 6 YEARS OF RELATED WORK EXPERIENCE.

MUST ALSO HAVE FIVE (5) YEARS OF RELATED WORK EXPERIENCE INVOLVING EACH OF THE FOLLOWING: DESIGNING AND IMPLEMENTING NETWORK AND CLOUD BASED SOLUTIONS; BUILDING HIGH LEVEL NETWORK DESIGNS AND DOCUMENTATION INCLUDING CONCEPTUAL AND FUNCTIONAL REQUIREMENTS; PLANNING, DESIGNING, AND EVALUATING TECHNICAL DESIGN AND BILL OF MATERIAL (BOM) FOR NETWORK AND TELECOMMUNICATIONS REVIEWING COMPLIANCE AND SECURITY REQUIREMENTS, SERVICE LEVEL AGREEMENT (SLA), AND SCOPE OF WORK (SOW) PLANNING, DESIGNING, AND IMPLEMENTING INTERNET PROTOCOL (IP) NETWORK INFRASTRUCTURE INCLUDING ROUTING, SWITCHING AND SECURITY FOR THE VIDEO, ENTERPRISE AND CLOUD-BASED NETWORK ENABLING NEW SOLUTIONS AROUND SOFTWARE DEFINED NETWORKS (SDN), NETWORK FUNCTION VIRTUALIZATION (NFV) AND SOFTWARE-DEFINED WIDE-AREA NETWORK (SD-WAN).
