Specialist, Library Media Services

Under the direction of an assigned administrator, direct the activities of library media services and the Educational Resources & Services (ERS) in providing services to local districts; provide consultation, staff development, and coordination services to school districts, Madera County Superintendent of Schools (MCSOS) offices, agencies and others in areas related to assigned instructional programs such as library and media education in Madera County, the region and state.

A minimum of four years of increasingly responsible library/media and teaching experience. Both elementary and high school experience preferred.

Master's Degree in Library Media Services or related field preferred. Valid Teacher Librarian Services Credential Valid Administrative Services Credential preferred. Possession of a valid California Class C driver's license. Incumbents must be insurable by the liability carrier for the Madera County Superintendent of Schools.
