The Specialist, Leaveof Absence is responsible for providing value to our customer. This isaccomplished by the daily oversight of all The Company's leave policy administration,exclusive of workers compensation leaves, including process coordination,support and communication to facilities/management within areas ofresponsibility, data collection, reporting, database management, filemaintenance and related duties, as well as providing administrative andclerical support.
This position will beresponsible for..
Processes andcoordinates administration all US based Leaves of Absence programs (FMLA,Medical, USERRA, and Personal) and ADA processes to ensure conformance andconsistency based upon applicable laws and policies, in partnership with thirdparty administrator
Interprets policyto address and resolve issues raised as well as providing advice andresolution.
Advises facilitymanagement of action steps to take when addressing LOA requests, abuse, etc.
Advises/guidesmanagement on LOA terminations.
Preparescorrespondence as needed, related to LOA needs and Federal Regulations andmaintains legal compliance for all forms.
Manages internalLOA records as needed and conducts management training.
Prepares ad hocmanagement reports.
Records andtracks LOA time off in timekeeping systems
Submitsappropriate documentation to Payroll, to reflect teammates' leave status andensure compliance with Payroll procedures
Performs allother duties as assigned or requested.

Bachelor's Degreein related field preferred and 5 years of relevant experience
In lieu ofdegree, high school diploma or GED and 7 years of relevant experience.
Experiencehandling FMLA, ADA, and/or other related leave administration.
Knowledge ofFederal and State Regulations, and ability to relate knowledge to Companypolicies.
Provenproficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint required; experience with
Access a plus.
Experience intimekeeping and HRIS systems including Kronos, EeTime, and ADPEnterprise/Peoplesoft. Experience with Workday a plus.
Strong analyticalskills, detailed oriented and organizational skills.
Ability toquickly adapt to changing processes and technology, and contribute to qualitysolutions to promote efficiency and standardization
Maintainconfidentiality at all times.
Excellent writtenand verbal communication skills.
Self-motivated,able to multi-task and complete various tasks related to a high volume oftime-sensitive responsibilities
