The Role:

Provide onsite and remote IT technical support for a diverse and complex technical environment covering many different IT methodologies.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a pleasant, friendly, and welcoming attitude toward all external and internal guests at all times.

  • Effectively handle all service calls.

  • Accurately assess user issues, and research, diagnose, and resolve problems.

  • Promptly refer higher-level issues to other members of MIS team for resolution.

  • Follow up with users to ensure adequate problem resolution.

  • Maintain and support applications and workstations.

  • Maintain and support servers and data communications equipment.

  • Maintain integrity and security of company information through effective backup and restoration procedures and disaster recovery planning.

  • Perform system security audits to meet compliance requirements.

  • Perform preventive maintenance and repair services to all IT related equipment as needed.

  • Implement and install new software and hardware as needed.

  • Maintain strict confidentiality relative to financial information, operating systems, company policies and procedures, marketing plans, and team member information.

  • Keep work area in a clean and orderly manner.

  • Ensure the safety and security of all guests and team members.

  • Comply with all policies and procedures established by Bally's KC and department management.

  • Other duties as assigned or any reasonable request from any member of management.

Qualifications:

  • A high school diploma or GED is required.

  • An Associate's degree in a related field plus at least 2 years of experience, or the equivalent combination of education and experience, is required.

  • Strong knowledge of PC's, servers, networks, software, hardware, and telecommunications equipment is required.

  • Experience with Windows 10, Office 365, Active directory, VMware, Cisco, Server 2012-2019, SQL preferred.

  • Experience with WDS/MDT, WSUS and image creation and deployment.

  • Network cabling installation and termination.

  • Must obtain Missouri Gaming Commission occupational license.

  • Must be able to work any assigned shift, including late nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime.

  • Read, write, and understand complex instructions and operating manuals.

  • Communicate appropriately with all casino guests, casino departments, and fellow team members.

  • Understand and adhere to all Missouri Gaming Commission regulations and any other applicable federal, state, and/or local regulations.

  • Accurately perform all assigned job duties in a high-volume, fast-paced environment under frequent time pressures.

Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. The team member is also required to make ongoing repetitive motions of the arms and hands.
  • WORK ENVIRONMENT: while performing the duties of this job, the team member is exposed to variable temperatures, smoke, steam, wet areas, enclosed spaces, electricity, and bright flashing lights. The noise level in the work environment is usually very loud.
