Summary:
Responsible for the collection of measurement data electronically, and the delivery of measurement information to support Midstream gathering, transportation and asset management.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Investigate, analyze, and correct Autosol ACM server issues and related problems. This includes determining if the problem is related to hardware, software, network, communications, etc.
Setup and configure data communication to new meter sites for EFM data collection.
Partner with field engineers and technicians in the continuous improvement and reliability of EFM/SCADA collection systems
Prepare special reports and conducts special projects as assigned.
Work closely with the IT Dept. to achieve above requirements and goals.
Facilitate a positive team environment within Measurement and with the internal customers.
Resolve questions and issues from customers, as well as clients and stakeholders within the partnership
Maintain professional knowledge and expertise in an environment of rapidly changing technology.
Provide on-call support.
Requirements:
Education and/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. The requirements for this position are listed below:
Bachelor degree, or 2-5 years of related work experience in a SCADA environment.
Working experience with Autosol Communication Manager
Working experience with FlowCal applications such as FlowCal Enterprise and Test-IT
Basic knowledge in the fundamentals of natural gas measurement and familiarity with the various metering and recording technologies.
Ability to promote cooperation and commitment within a team to achieve goals and deliverables.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with multiple concurrent assignments and deadlines.
Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels of the organization.
Strong interpersonal and presentation skills.
Strong analytical skills and experience; ability to recognize, analyze and solve complex problems.
Strong data management skills: ability to audit, format, model and analyze large data sets.
Ability to effectively handle pressures and demands of deadlines and competing priorities.
Ability to handle confidential information and material with the highest degree of professional responsibility.
Advanced skills in computer applications, databases, and reporting software: Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint).
Demonstrate commitment to compliance with applicable laws and regulations, company's ethics code of conduct and other company policies and procedures
Respect and follow safety policies and regulations; scan the environment for objects or people who may pose a safety risk; encourage others to utilize safe and healthy work practices
Working Conditions:
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
Usually, normal office working conditions.
Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time due to prolonged periods of sitting or standing.
Occasional overnight travel may be required.
Occasional visits to industrial/manufacturing settings, which may include exposure to various materials and chemicals, as well as extreme temperature conditions and loud machinery, and require appropriate personal protective equipment.
