Inventory Coordinator

Our Inventory Coordinator team within Materials and Procurement keeps track of the size of our inventory and ensures its security so we have what we need to innovate when we need it. We conduct physical inventories and cycle counts, analyze count discrepancies, audit incoming and outgoing shipments for quality and accuracy and document all transactions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Frequently contributes to the development of new theories and methods.

  • Employs expertise as a generalist or specialist Develops resolutions to complex problems that require the frequent use of creativity.

  • Uses judgment within broadly defined policies and practices. Work is accomplished without considerable direction.

  • Exerts significant latitude in determining objectives of assignment.

  • Erroneous decisions or recommendations would normally result in the inability to reach crucial organizational objectives and may have a prolonged effect, as well as result in the expenditure of substantial resources.

  • Represents the organization as the principal customer contact and often performs project leadership role.

  • Interacts with management and senior customer personnel on matters requiring coordination across organizational lines.

  • Help manage quarterly cycle count and physical inventory management and reconciliations

  • Process review to drive better results and gains in efficiency

  • Meet and surpass Dell Inventory Control CSA standards

  • Must manage and meet all SOX controls and requirements

Essential Requirements

  • Must have a good understanding of Reverse Logistics, Order Management, and Inventory Management

  • Knowledge of SAP and Oracle

  • Must be proficient in Power Point, Excel, and Access

  • Proficiency in SQL is a plus

  • Must be able to present to Sr. Management

  • Knowledge of Finance and Accounting

  • 2-4 years Inventory Control experience

  • Project management skills

  • Time management skills

  • Mentoring/Coaching skills

  • Cross-Functional skills

  • Documentation skills
