Position Function: Assists the assigned Relationship Banking Team & Department Manager in managing and growing a portfolio of high valued clients in loan and deposit accounts/relationships that meet with established lending and operational policies and provides maximum profitability to the Bank with a minimum of risk. Assist in maintaining all client information. Serves as a liaison throughout the bank facilitating the deliver of financial products and services and cross marketing a full range of banking, trust and investment services. Directly provide banking and operational support for clients. This role encompasses initial reception and/or prospecting, information gathering, analyzing, profiling, documenting, closing, follow-up service, and various reporting requirements. Experience with loan documentation, rules and regulations are preferred. This position is client intensive and it requires that the candidate be entirely comfortable in interacting with high value clients of the Bank. Being a self-starter and a team player is a must.
High School Diploma or GED Required
Associates or Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related field preferred
Working knowledge of the most complex financial service products and services including Small Business deposits and credits. May have expertise in specialty loans/products.
Current driver's license and access to reliable transportation.
Must be able to work a flexible schedule to include before and after normal work hours, weekends, and holidays when necessary.
Licenses and Certifications:
Registration with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System & Registry (NMLS) is required prior to performing any duties of a Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO).
Must be able to obtain Notary License within 120 days of employment.
Must be able to obtain Life and Health Licenses within 180 days of employment.
Physical Requirements & Working Conditions:
Must be able to perform light physical work and to move or lift items including but not limited to boxes, files and papers up to 20 pounds unless otherwise as indicated.
Must be able to operate and proficiently use standard office equipment, including phone, copier, personal computer and/or other work related mechanical or electronic devices and applications.
Must be able to clearly communicate verbally and in writing with all internal and external customers. Must also be able to hear sufficiently to engage in daily discussions and interactions.
Must be able to read and understand bank-related documents. Must be able to work in a conventional office setting, involving sitting at a desk or workstation for long periods of time. Must also be able to adapt to different work environments as needed to perform the job.
