High School Diploma required
College courses or equivalent experience preferred.
1-3 years Human Resources experience preferred but not required.
Excellent computer skills required to include Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
Knowledge of Lawson and PeopleFluent preferred but not required.
Previous experience in an office setting with high volume traffic and working on multi-phone lines with walk-in traffic preferred.
Must be able to handle high stress office setting with ease.
Must be able to assist guests, applicants, new hires, contract workers, management and vendors all with professionalism and able to assess the situations and handle in order of importance as efficiently as possible.
Assists with the overall Human Resources Departmental operations by providing assistance and support with projectoriented responsibilities and performing routine tasks and duties such as data entry and audits, customer service, report writing and research.
Provide excellent customer service by responding to requests for information through understanding of policies and practices within his/her prescribed HR function (i.e. HRIS, Employee Relations, Compensation, Training & Development, etc.).
Answering multi-phone line system, greeting walk-in traffic and able to multi-task in a fast paced employment office area.
Badging new hires, temps and contractors by using our badging system, taking photo and keying information in the system before issuing badge.
Scheduling our new hires for drug testing and processing.
Working on data entry and keying information into our different systems used in HR.
Completing tickets in our system and scanning direct deposits, tax forms, change of address forms and many other HR documents
Data Entry in our Lawson payroll system.
Able to handle many of the tasks throughout the day while assisting walk-in traffic during high volume times.
Able to work independently and able to prioritize job duties to ensure the most important information is processed as quickly and efficiently as possible.
Must be able to handle high stress situations with professionalism.
Able to assist our Human Resources team with special projects, job duties and new tasks at any point and time.
