Job Summary

The Specialist

  • Facilities (Systems) is responsible for managing all Facilities information systems. The Facilities Specialist is the primary user for tracking and vendor systems. They are responsible for asset allocation, maintaining accurate system data, and all regional invoice processing and corrections. The Facilities Specialist works on multiple projects and presentations and assists in training other team members.

Essential Functions

  • Manage all Facilities information systems (incl. inventory management, invoicing, vendor, and Proshop systems)

  • Provide regional staff with Facilities system trainings

  • Maintain and update systems information

  • Track asset allocation and required maintenance

  • Track costs and provide invoicing support for the region

  • Analyze and identify trends within the region

  • Complete multiple projects while meeting deadlines

  • All other duties as assigned

Required

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Microsoft Office Suite proficiency (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)

  • Ability to adapt and learn new systems efficiently

  • Excellent organization and attention to detail

  • Strong analytical skills and problem solving

  • Basic understanding of mathematical functions

  • Ability to prioritize multiple assignments under deadlines

  • Public speaking and presentation skills

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Project management experience

  • Microsoft Office certification

Required Education, Certifications/ Licenses, Related Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree required

  • 1-2 years of relevant experience

  • Valid Driver's License

Physical Job Requirements

  • This position requires the ability to remain in a stationary position (standing and/or seated) more than half the time

  • The person in this position may need to move about the store(s), distribution center(s), warehouse(s), and/or corporate office(s) less than half the time

  • The person in this role must be able to position him/herself (ex: kneel, crawl, crouch down) to fulfill the essential functions of the role less than half the time

  • The person in this position must be able to maneuver (lift, move, carry, slide, etc.) 15 40 lbs.

  • This position operates machinery and/or equipment that requires the constant use of hands/fingers/wrists (ex: typing, etc.) all of the time

  • This position requires the ability to spend all of the time viewing computer monitors

  • This position is exposed to non-climate controlled workspace(s) less than half the time

  • The person in this position must be able to identify and distinguish between colors all of the time

Travel Requirements

  • This position commutes between regional offices/distribution centers less than 25% of the time within a day

  • This position requires overnight domestic travel less than 25% of the time

  • Anticipated travel will be by car, air, and/or train

Role Information Lidl US Job Description Job Title: Associate - Facilities (Regional) Department: Facilities Business Unit: Operations Reports To: Facilities Manager Supervisory Role: No FLSA Status: Nonexempt Job Summary Warehouse Associates are trained and developed to be able to work in the fast-paced environment of a Lidl warehouse. The Associate reports directly to the Facilities Specialist and is a part of the team that is responsible for the uninterrupted, safe and accurate flow of goods within the warehouse, beginning with the receipt of goods. Associates will also carry out selection activities and prep for the delivery of packed pallets, in addition to processing all materials that flow from stores and within the warehouse.
