Develops and executes the Centene Corporation Executive Protection and Risk Management mission. Proactively mitigates risk to ensure the health, safety, and well-being of designated Executives, Board Members, and VIPs. Responds to Corporate critical incidents to assist as needed to ensure the health, safety, and well-being of employees.
Manage on and offsite planning, coordination and execution of executive protection/security strategies and risk management strategies for designated executive protection events and travel.
Develop and maintain profiles and conduct travel risk assessments for designated Executives, Board Members, and VIPs.
Responsible for protective operations to include personal protection, event security, ground and air transportation, personal assistance and special projects.
Collaborate and coordinate with the Centene Corporate Physical Security Department and the Centene Crisis Manager to develop and implement best practices, strategies, operations objectives and procedures, involving Executive Protection and Security.
Develop and maintain liaison and coordination of a wide range of local, state and federal agencies.
Identify groups, individuals and emerging technologies that may pose a threat to select executives.
Maintain a high level of physical fitness and the ability to meet the physical demands required to successfully perform the essential functions of the mission.
Achieve and maintain annual training and certification in the areas of protective security operations and CPR and basic first aid.
Demonstrate excellent judgment and decision-making skills and display unquestionable integrity and strong commitment to keep high level discussions, event activities and strategic plans confidential.
Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Business Administration, Business Management, Psychology, Sociology, Social Work, or related field. 3 years of experience in executive protection, protection of individuals, executive security and event security. Experience in law enforcement, investigations, corporate security or similar disciplines. Experience in operations, logistics, travel planning and execution and event planning and execution.
Valid Driver's License and valid Passport. LEOSA (HR 218) permit or ability to acquire the permit or related qualifications. Meet the qualifications required for certification as a Corporate Security Advisor (CSA) as defined in Missouri Code of State Regulations. Meet the qualifications required for certification as an Armed Security Officer (ASO) in accordance with the DCA Access Standard Security Program (DASSSP)
