About the team and position
The Enterprise Safe & Secure Support Team helps to keep to our 14,000 associates who work at our 150+ locations Safe & Secure every day. By collaborating with various Carvana Teams, ESST delivers security program development to protect our people and our assets. Our ESST Team works closely with our key business partners in Reconditioning, Logistics, and Market Operations and our ADESA auctions to ensure we are all in this together as we solve complex problems in a fast paced environment.
The role of the Specialist,Enterprise Safe & Secure Support, is to plan, execute, and finalize SAS initiatives that will drive improved business results. They must collaborate with stakeholders and subject matter experts across Carvana to deliver initiatives according to an agreed upon plan. They must also have prior experience executing company level initiatives and must be able to coordinate activities in a fast paced environment.
What you'll be doing
Define initiative scope, goals and deliverables that support the business needs
Organize meetings, minutes, and track action items.
Prepare reports and other documentation related to the initiative as required.
Effectively communicate initiative expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
Leverage data to ensure risks are properly identified, solutions are properly defined, and progress evaluated appropriately
Gain commitment and track progress of other initiative stakeholders on an ongoing basis.
Set and continually manage workload expectations; escalate when necessary.
Plan and schedule initiative timelines and milestones using appropriate tools.
Track initiative milestones and deliverables.
Conduct post-mortems to identify wins to replicate and opportunities to address and correct.

What you should have
Bachelor's degree (preferably in business, finance or criminal justice).
Five years of experience in security or asset protection, and EHS/Safety
Three years of experience executing company level initiatives
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Self-starter's mentality
Proficiency in MS Office, MS Project, and Tableau
It would be great if you also had
Master's degree (preferably in business, finance, criminal justice, or social administration).
Experience in enterprise/corporate project management development
