Position Summary:

Provides outstanding service to all customers with a key focus on the foodservice area; ensures that all food items meet the required stock levels and presentation standards; and that all cleanliness and food safety standards are met or exceeded, greets customers in a friendly manner and suggestively sells and samples items to help increase sales.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Ensures proper preparation, presentation and maintenance of stock levels for all foodservice products available to the customer

  • Provides personalized customer service by greeting each customer, assisting with purchases, suggestively selling and making sure all food products are available and ready for consumption

  • Takes an active role in promoting new foodservice programs introduced by the Company

  • Assists in code-dating food items to ensure quality and safety. Follows all food sanitation guidelines

  • Helps ensure proper storage, dating and rotation of all food products and supplies

  • Actively promotes foodservice items through regular sampling initiatives, engages in suggestive selling and communication of promotional items and specials

  • Cleans and maintains the foodservice area including, but not limited to, cleaning counters, equipment, floors and cabinets. Performs light maintenance duties as assigned

  • Helps ensure all equipment is operating correctly. Communicates to Management when maintenance is needed

  • Monitors customer lines at the Point of Sale (POS) system and opens additional registers as needed, in order to expedite the sales process

  • Learns and follows all applicable procedures outlined in the Company Food Service User's Guide

  • Listens and responds to customer requests and forwards necessary information to Management

  • Maintains knowledge of current sales/goals for each food category, Food Quality compliance inspections and the Speedway Customer Ready Worksheets

  • Attends Company required training programs; assists in training fellow store associates on existing and new training programs as needed

  • Provides suggestions for and actively participates in improving sales, margins and execution of all foodservice programs

  • Completes other duties as assigned by Management

Additional responsibilities for Caf Foodservice Specialist:

  • Provides service to the Caf foodservice area and ensures that all food items meet the required food quality

  • Ensures customers are treated as Caf guests and that orders are completed in a timely and friendly manner

  • Demonstrates kiosk use, monitors customer lines at the kiosk and assists customers when ordering to expedite the sales process

  • Completes all Caf training documents and follows all applicable procedures

  • Completes the Speedy Caf Customer Ready Worksheets

  • Assists in training fellow Caf associates on existing and new training programs as needed


Education Requirements:

  • No requirement

Experience Requirements:

  • Foodservice/customer Service experience preferred

Skill Requirements:

  • Basic computer skills

  • Exceptional customer service skills

  • Good verbal and written communication skills

  • Understanding of store functions and operations

  • Capable of working in a fast-paced environment and ability to work as a member of a team

  • Ability to model proper workplace behavior, including being respectful, honest and fair

  • Ability to perform repeated bending, kneeling, twisting and overhead reaching

  • Ability to work in intermittent temperatures, e.g., outside by the pumps and in the cooler

  • Ability to stand for an entire shift

  • Ability to frequently lift between 5 to 20 pounds

  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds

The residential treatment program is committed to providing the highest quality care and supervision to the youth being served. To assure that quality exists, the program only employs personnel with good moral character, emotional stability, and of sufficient health, ability, experience and education to perform the duties assigned. As a Youth Specialist for Bellaview, you will provide care and supervision to female residents in the program and assume the role of resident advocate for the assigned residents. You will ensure that residents' developmental needs are met in a safe and supportive environment, enhance their ability to meet treatment goals, tutor for educational growth, and supervise their safety and the community's at large. As an advocate, you will develop therapeutic relationships with the residents and offer insight into their functioning and participation in the program. * Acquire and retain adequate knowledge and implement components of treatment program. * Be involved in assigned activities and encourage positive growth of residents. * Meet with supervisor bimonthly to discuss job performance or issues of concern. * Intervene in a caring and consistent manner as outline in treatment guidelines. * Implement nonviolent crisis prevention intervention procedures (CPI). * Supervise daily routines including mealtime, study time, outings, bedtime, assigned jobs, and other resident activity. * As advocate, present social history at staff meeting following admission. Review the criminal sexual conduct and legal history, family history, psychological history, school history, and identify and issues or behaviors that would warrant attention in the treatment. * At staff meetings the advocate will update team by presenting information related to current level, length of time on that level, date of placement, length of stay, goal attainment percentages from the prior 4 weeks, school progress report, think tank or room restriction time, incident reports, assessment of overall functioning, interaction with peers and staff, and recommendation for new or revised treatment goals. * Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications: * Bilingual Spanish/English. * Possess the temperament to work with and care for youth with special needs. * Possess the ability to be a positive adult example. * Possess the ability to nurture and provide structure, support, and respect. * Ability to pass required medical examinations and to have physical ability to fulfill essential functions, including physical restraints of a resident. * Pass a TB test annually and document preference to receive or decline Hepatitis immunization. * Possess the ability to work effectively as a member of a multi-disciplinary treatment team. * Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills. * Possess employment stability. * High school diploma. * Computer skills sufficient to perform essential functions. * Ability to work 2nd shift and weekends. * Subscription to and integration of the agency Statement of Faith, Mission Statement, and Cultural Diversity Commitment.
