Lockwood is an SEC registered investment advisor. The role works directly with financial advisors of our key client firms.

Our team is responsible for driving new assets growth, retaining existing assets, training on Lockwood advised investment solutions and our clients entire investment platform. The role involves direct interaction with financial advisors, proactive contact, on demand support, investment solution guidance, proposal support, training on desktop tools and technology used by advisors to manage their book of business and new business.

  • Leads activities related to Business Development support, including managed accounts product sales, new business and training support. Consults on Business Development opportunities and does analysis and provides proposal/recommendations for financial advisors using Lockwood solutions. Oversees development of proposal materials and reviews against existing or competitor offerings.

  • Manages day to day activity within a geographic region. May allocate or coordinate work within team.

    Develops approach to analyzing metrics, analysis methodology and proposal response. Takes lead on the largest, most complex opportunities and completes proposals that are requested.

  • Coordinates with internal business units to research and gather information necessary to engage with financial advisors to meet sales targets. Anticipates and resolves any compliance, legal or regulatory review required for solicitation and response.

  • Acts as a resource for relationship managers to ensure information needed to complete a sale or to improve the sales process provided in a timely fashion. Works directly with the client, business development or relationship management teams to clarify requirements for materials being developed.

  • Leverages technological expertise for product sales and demonstrations. No direct reports.

    Leads Business Development support teams and provides guidance to less experienced colleagues. Contributes to the achievement of team objectives.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATION:

5+ years working directly in managed accounts sales supporting financial advisors within independent broker dealers, banks and RIAs.

Qualifications

Bachelors degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience in business management or related field is required. 7-10 years of total work experience in sales preferred.

The Escrow Specialists monitor all work performed through tasks, comment codes, or status reports and ensure tasks are completed within expected time frames. This role maintains department assigned productivity and accuracy percentages and identifies trending issues and providing suggested process improvements and changes. The Specialists determine root-cause of, and escalate, reoccurring data quality issues with clients and/or internal departments and take initiative to outline/present recommendations. This role is responsible for responding to incoming email inquiries from internal and external sources in a high volume environment. Responsibilities: All Disciplines * Monitors all work performed through tasks, comment codes, or status reports; ensures tasks are completed within expected time frames * Maintains department assigned productivity and accuracy percentages * Identifies trending issues and providing suggested process improvements and changes * Determines root-cause of, and escalate, reoccurring data quality issues with clients and/or internal departments; takes initiative to outline/present recommendations; implements changes and processes improvements * Responds to incoming email inquiries from internal and external sources in a high volume environment * Other duties as assigned The following duties and responsibilities vary by discipline (Escrow, Insurance, Mortgage Insurance, Tax): Escrow * Data Integrity testing and reporting for Interest on Escrow * Trends analysis on Interest on Escrow-provide client reporting * Analysis of loans within RESPA guidelines for the state trials/finals/reports * Assists with review of Zero UPB loans with escrow and corporate advance balances * Performs short year statement testing and maintenance to ensure RESPA compliance * Monitors all work performed through tasks, comment codes, or status reports; ensure complete tasks within expected time frames. * Completion of individual and mass analysis of Bankruptcy, Loss Mitigation, Foreclosure and multi-delinquent Collection loans * Performs delinquent analysis within department, investor and client guidelines * Acts as backup to primary respondent for Default Escrow Analysis e-mailbox * Performs non-default trial analysis as needed in high volume months Insurance * Performs vendor oversight through regular testing of operational functions performed by and/or supported by the vendors * Reports any operational findings to management, outlining areas of fail, risk and recommendations for potential process improvements * Identifies trending issues and providing suggested process improvements and changes Mortgage Insurance * Acts as a single point of contact for each assigned MI Carrier and manage the respective portfolio of PMI loans * Coordinates and facilitates on-site visits with assigned MI Carriers to develop and maintain strong partnerships to increase efficiencies with reporting, billing and servicing * Conducts and facilitates monthly calls with assigned MI Carriers and Claims to discuss technology enhancements, regulatory and servicing changes and industry best practices * Assists the Mortgage Insurance Billing Supervisor to ensure all affected internal departments have sufficient controls for monitoring and servicing PMI loans according to regulatory requirements such as HOPA and RESPA * Maintains a well-developed working knowledge of the various PMI premium types including borrower-paid, lender paid, investor, state and pool policies * Ensures all PMI refunds are returned timely to borrowers within the stated requirements established by the Homeowners Protection Act to ensure compliant * Reconciles all PMI billing exceptions by conducting research to make necessary updates to ensure PMI policies do not terminate and accurate premium disbursements occur timely * Identifies PMI loans with illogical premium amounts and review the PMI Certificate or other applicable documents to determine if adjustments need to be made to ensure borrowers are accurately billed * Ensures compliance with all investor requirements Tax * Documents tax related defects including various data elements pertinent to remediation and control * Examines the process on each Sold ID as it relates to tax contracting data and open item reports for clients moving to another servicer * Identifies trending issues and providing suggested process improvements and changes * Initiates and takes the lead on coordinating high level projects and assignments, including process changes, procedures, system enhancements;
