Seeking an IS Business Systems Analyst located in Thousand Oaks, CA. The Analyst will work within the Capital Projects, Execution and Controls(CPEC) group to support the Engineering organization. The Analyst will contribute to the success of CPEC by making fundamental improvements in how information is managed, business processes are operated, physical processes are controlled, and work flow is directed to efficiently achieve the integration and orchestration of all activities required for Engineering Project Delivery (EPD) and will attend strategic cross-functional meetings to facilitate the optimization of processes through implementation of solutions that enable enterprise-wide information knowledge management.

Top 3 Must Have Skill Sets:

5+ years direct experience and MSIST or related Masters
Good overall understanding of business, construction, and project management systems common in the pharmaceutical industry, as well as the integration of these systems through applicable standards
Hands-on experience with the following technologies Spotfire, Tableau, SAP Business Objects
Big 4 consulting experience or equivalent internal/external management consulting experience.

Day to Day Responsibilities:

Actively engage with business users to analyze business needs, gather and document business and solution requirements around integrations with Data Sources and Analytic Solutions.
Provide guidance to project teams on defining business needs, articulating solutions and approaches for addressing business needs, and presenting business cases for proposed solutions
Participate in the technical design, development, testing, implementation, and support of key projects and data visualization, dashboards & reporting
Review project deliverables throughout development to ensure quality and traceability to requirements and adherence to all quality management plans and standards. Participate in quality management reviews
Work and collaborate with the CPEC Regional Directors, Project Managers, Coordinators and vendors to determine the best technical solutions for EPD
Manage the data, workflows, and reporting of EPD tools
Prepare and maintain communication materials like roadmaps, position papers, presentations, demos, playbooks and socialize the materials with business clients and partners.
