Our Opportunity:

Schwab Advisor Services is the leading provider of custodial, operational and trading support for independent fee-based investment advisors. We're currently looking for dedicated individuals like you to help us provide financial advisors with access to sophisticated tools and wealth-management services. What you'll do:

  • Perform monthly invoicing of Schwab's platform products to Advisor Services clients

  • Answer call from clients related to invoicing and platform products (low volume)

  • Provide problem resolution to clients in a timely, professional, and courteous manner

  • Perform reconciliations of monthly and quarterly financial reports

  • Process contracts for services being offered to clients

  • Support internal Sales and Service contacts with data requests and questions related to platform products and invoicing

  • Work in a small, highly collaborative team environment of professionals.

Hours of operation are from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Eastern Monday Friday.

What you have:

  • 3+ years customer service experience, preferably in the brokerage/financial industry.

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel experience to include working experience with creating pivot tables, using Vlookup and other functions in Excel

  • Basic knowledge of computer desktop and network environments including operating systems, peripherals, and navigating through software, demonstrated through experience and/or education

  • CRM Experience basic experience with SalesForce

  • Ability to work independently with little oversight

  • Effective troubleshooting and accounting skills

  • Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy in work

  • Organizational skills and a demonstrated ability to manage changing priorities.

  • Effective verbal and written communication

  • Identifies opportunities for business development and takes appropriate action.

  • Ability to work well in a team environment.

  • Strong customer services skills

VIEW JOBS 11/17/2018 12:00:00 AM 2019-02-15T00:00 SUMMARY The Network Operations Specialist I is responsible for proactive and reactive network monitoring of Cable One backbone entities and HFC (Hybrid Fiber Coaxial) Network. This position utilizes analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and escalate basic issues to product technology operations and local system technical operations teams by performing fundamental network operations functions. RESPONSIBILITIES Set forth below is a list of the essential duties and responsibilities (or "essential functions") of this position. * Monitors information on all network sites, analyzes various network monitoring tools, and identifies deterioration of components in the system. * Acts as first tier in alert response and incident/problem resolution for the Cable One network to identify customer and infrastructure impacting issues. * Performs initial troubleshooting and data gathering to identify and resolve issues in an efficient manner. * Ensures proper escalation to technology operations teams and local system technicians. * Coordinates communication and sends status email messages to all stakeholders and Cable One departments to inform of customer impacting issues. * Maintains a detailed causes and resolutions log of customer and associate-related incidents. * Ensures that the handover to next shift is up-to-date and communicated at the end of the shift. * Confirms network events and issues are identified and properly escalated to the responsible management levels. * Performs scheduled maintenance monitoring of critical applications by checking the status, operations, and return to service. * Other duties and/or responsibilities not specifically set forth above may, however, be assigned as needed.
