General Summary:
Perform Special Technical Operations (STO) planning duties to include daily touchpoints with forward personnel and HW staff while interfacing with both program management and the government. Responsible for all physical, information, personnel security, risk management, and security education and awareness for SPACECENT HQ. Working in concert with management, provide a range of options within the SAP/STO portfolio to be integrated into CCMD planning. Coordinates directly with forward deployed personnel for integration of SAP/STO capabilities and translates the need into effects to enable CCMD priorities.
Provide expert advice and analytical support for STO operations, planning, and organizational assessment efforts.
Provide strategic and operational level planning support pertaining to CCMD contingency operations and strategic operations
Provide expert advice to DoD leadership of STO policy, doctrine, decisions, trends concepts, and studies.
Provide senior staff advice and guidance regarding the establishment, management, and execution-level analysis for risk management relating to STO planning and operations.
Support day-to-day office activities such as organizing and facilitating meetings, and managing systems/taskers.
Analyze strategies, policies, doctrine, plans, capability gaps, and emerging trends to support decision-making related to the current and potential future threat environment.
Attend HQ USCENTCOM video teleconference (VTC) upon request, coordinate STO meetings/discussions based on integrated need
Collect metric data from forward personnel to further Service level capability development
Coordinate and integrate CCMD plans with supporting/supported interagency partners.
Provide advice on prioritization of strategy related programs.

Required Experience
Required Qualfications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; Master's degree preferred
Minimum of 10 years' staff experience (CCMD, Service Headquarters, Joint Staff etc) with 5 years working at Strategic or Operational level within SAP or STO
Extensive knowledge working on PDAS and within the SAP community
Joint Operational Planning Execution System (JOPES) qualified
Working knowledge of desktop applications including word processing, spreadsheet, and database software packages
Active TS/SCI clearance required; US Citizenship
