Special Services Coordinator

Qualifications

• Professional Educator's License (PEL) as set forth by the Illinois State Board of Education with the following applicable endorsement(s):

• Learning Behavior Specialist 1 (LBS1) (K-8) or;

• School services personnel (K-8)

• Master's or Bachelor's Degree in an area of Special Education or Special Services from an accredited college or university required

• Knowledge of applicable federal and state laws regarding education and students required

• Experience working directly with students with disabilities required

• Current Illinois General Administrative endorsement preferred

• Successful prior special education experience preferred

• Experience with behavior management preferred

Salary/Benefits

• Salary will be applied based on the New Teacher Salary Schedule under the Frankfort Teacher's Association Collective Bargaining Agreement.

• Base teacher salary: $51,001.00/annual including TRS
