Position Specific Responsibilities

Systems enhancement: Become proficient in understanding and utilizing various software in place or available in the market, with a keen interest in investigating how to utilize effectively for dept needs.

Project Management: Knowledgeable with managing multiple projects at various stages with multiple associated teams. This includes implementation of processes or software. Understands the impact of changes and implementations across departments and/or systems, taking into account stakeholders needs.

Business Continuity Planning (BCP): Ability to update and maintain BCP documentation and communicate necessary changes to relevant offices/individuals.

Coordination Skills: Identify enhancements that can improve daily operations or areas of need.

Communication: Excellent communication skills, verbal and written, and ability to generate proposals including options, recommendations and potential impacts.

Collaborative: Work with stakeholders both internal and external to the dept to understand impacts of changes and full needs considering overlap of operations. Maintain strong attention to detail while focusing on how they fit into the larger picture to be addressed.

The ideal candidate is a forward-thinking individual who takes initiative and drives projects to completion while maintaining a collaborative spirit. This person needs a genuine enthusiasm for the collaborative nature of this role and the work needed to achieve goals. This will include the ability to embrace existing technology while learning how it could be enhanced and used more effectively. They should be an independent and analytical thinker with the ability to discover available options, provide recommendations to decision makers, and guide change processes.

Summary of Responsibilities

Provides practical, hands-on organizational change management support for business processes and technology projects.

Essential Functions

Collaborates with team members and project leads to ensure continuous alignment with timing, approach, project deliverables and business processes.

Analyzes business requirements, process and objectives and provides guidance on change impacts.

Assists with development of training and communication strategies.

Establishes relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to develop key milestones and change initiatives.

Works with project teams to integrate change management activities into the overall project plan.

Requirements

Minimum Education

Bachelor's degree in business, communications, leadership, organizational behavior, psychology or human resources.

Preferred Education Minimum Experience

Two (2) years of change management experience involving the implementation of organizational change initiatives, ideally with process and technology aspects required.

Preferred Experience Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

1.Excellent organizational and prioritizing skills

2.Ability to develop appropriate strategies for change and project implementation

3.Excellent verbal and written communication skills

4.Ability to manage change concurrently in multiple areas/projects

5.Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively to achieve goals
