The Russ College of Engineering and Technology's Office of the Dean at Ohio University invites applications for the full-time position of Special Projects Coordinator.
The Special Projects Coordinator manages special projects on behalf of the Dean including communications initiatives and alumni and donor engagement events and opportunities. The Special Projects Coordinator also provides leadership in the planning and organization of meetings, guest lectures, and events. In this role, the coordinator will work closely with colleagues in University Communications and Marketing (UCM) and University Advancement including the Ohio University Alumni Association (OUAA).
Responsibilities include:
Project Management
Alumni Society Support
Executive Communications- Provide executive communications leadership for the Dean as needed, including the development of presentations, drafting remarks for events, and coordinating with UCM on the creation of external messages from the Dean to various audiences.
Event Planning
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Communications, Business, Project Management, or related field.
At least three years of related work experience.
At least one year of management experience.
An equivalent combination of education and experience will also be considered.
