What We're Looking For:
The Public Health Special Projects Coordinator will be responsible for managing the content calendar, outreach efforts and social media presence of various marketing website properties that focus on mental health degrees such as public health, counseling, social work, and education. They will be working with employees from different departments across 2U including, but not limited to, the content editing, SEO, brand marketing and marketing operations analyst teams. The Special Projects Coordinator will also work with experts to create and promote high quality content such as infographics and blog post. They will also be responsible for managing various special projects across 2U assets to drive high quality organic web traffic to our digital marketing 2U assets.
Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To:
Working with a wide variety of 2U employees and external vendors, often remotely, on brainstorming, storyboarding, scheduling content creation projects and holding others to deadlines.
Advising and editing the visual appearance, structure and format of web pages and videos.
Ensuring content is optimized for search engines.
Promoting content via email, social media. Researching the right people to reach out to and determining the most persuasive language to use to achieve the desired result.
Promoting content and gathering feedback within 2U from admissions and student support team on the resources we've created.
Researching and understanding the needs of professionals and ensuring our content speaks to those needs
Using analytics tools to facilitate and measure work.
Ensuring that content creation goals align with top-level company goals.
Things That Should Be In Your Background:
At least 1-2 years of experience in a research and content creating intensive field.
Experience or knowledge in the mental health field.
Experience in writing and editing.
Experience scheduling and organizing large research projects
Experience managing many working relationships on a complicated, long term project.
