Special procedures technologists operate medical diagnostic imaging equipment such as computer tomography (CT) and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scanners and assist in imaging procedures such as angiography and cardiac catheterization (CC).
Performs exceptional customer satisfaction by creating a positive environment for all visitors, coworkers and physicians through prompt responses to requests, maintaining a clean and orderly environment and actively committing to help achieve department goals.
Provides exceptional safety by obtaining accurate histories and diagnosis; following and complying with all department policies, protocols and regulatory agency requirements.
Creates exceptional clinical/service outcomes by providing quality diagnostic images of requested anatomy with in specified timeframes through the use of radiology informatics tools.

Graduate of an accredited program for Radiography
Current Florida state licensure
Current American Heart Association Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS)
Minimum of two (2) years working as an Imaging Tech, preferably in an acute-care setting
Customer service abilities, including effective listening skills
Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment
Ability to perform work that requires frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving, lifting of patients and/or equipment up to 50 lbs
