Obtains pertinent medical history from the patient by observation or with oral communication.
Recognizes changes in patients during the course of the exam from initial assessment.
Exercises professional judgment in performance of services and maintains a demeanor complimentary to medical ethics.
Modifies procedure as required through knowledge gained by patient assessment without compromising diagnostic or therapeutic outcome.
Communicates clearly with patients of all ages, peers and others in order to complete the hospital/physician plan of patient care.
Performs radiologic procedures on patients of all ages properly, according to the Radiology Procedure Manual standard of obtaining diagnostic images.
Performs Diagnostic Angiographic/Therapeutic Interventional procedures on patients of all ages properly, according to the Angiographic/Interventional procedure manual standard.
Provides clinical supervision for student Radiographers.
Pursues educational self development in order to maintain ARRT certification.
Maintain self-education for Arkansas state license..
Avoid any mechanical, biological, radiation or electrical hazard and report potential hazards immediately
AAS Radiologic Technologist (RT) degree from accredited program
Registered Radiologic Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or Registry eligible and registered within 12 months of hire
Licensed Radiologic Technologist through the Arkansas Department of Health.
Basic Life Support (BLS)

Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology from an accredited program
1 year of previous Rad Tech experience
Knowledgable in basic computer skills; PACs, and Meditech
