The Clean Agent Inspection Technician is responsible for the testing and inspection of fire extinguishers, wet chemical fire suppression systems (protection kitchen appliances), dry chemical fire suppression systems (protection industrial paint booths); preventive maintenance with knowledge of multiple manufacturers' products.
Duties include:
Perform inspections on fire alarms, extinguishers and kitchen hoods in commercial buildings
Provide assistance performing assigned tasks for fire life safety system services
Perform technical support including testing on fire detection systems and field devices in accordance with all national and local standards
Maintain complete and accurate documentation of inspections performed
Assists in responding to service calls (emergency and on-site)
Provide needed assistance with troubleshooting techniques and performs minor repairs as directed
Perform minor repairs as directed
Other Duties as Assigned
Required Qualifications:
2+years of experience within the industry with basic knowledge of clean agent systems
FEL -A & FAL Licensure
Must have strong work ethics
Detail oriented, professional attitude, reliable
Proficient with Google Docs
Possess strong organizational, documentation, problem solving and time management skills
Excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing
Ability to interact with employees and vendors in a professional manner
Strong customer service skills
Capable of performing physical labor to include carrying and moving equipment and tools more than 50lbs
Ability to work in sometimes difficult positions like climbing ladders, high lift equipment, working in crawl spaces, above ceilings, etc.
Ability to work independently and with a team in a fast-paced and high volume environment with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness
Possess High school diploma or equivalent
Must hold a valid driver's license and a clean driving record
