$17.65 - $25.68

THE JOB:

In this dynamic role as a Special Events Coordinator, you'll be the mastermind behind planning and executing a variety of events ranging from exclusive VIP parties to thrilling themed nights, tournaments, and other large-scale promotions. Your creativity, organizational prowess, and passion for guest satisfaction will shine as you coordinate with vendors, manage logistics, and ensure seamless event execution.

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

  • Design, plan, and coordinate all aspects of special events, including themes, décor, entertainment, and logistics to ensure memorable experiences for guests.

  • Compose event and promotion-related communications, including guest letters, property-wide memos, event fact sheets, and all property even and promotion collateral.

  • Develop and maintain relationships with vendors/entertainment to ensure all prerequisites are met during the events and promotions; attend events and serves as the point of contact for any potential issues; process payments for vendors and event/promotion collateral, including creating check requisitions and purchase requisitions for approval and ensure payment is received.

  • Create rules for all events and promotions; seek approval from Compliance, Legal and Marketing teams as appropriate

  • Recommend gifts for events/promotions and schedules/prepares gift presentations

  • Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, food and beverage, operations, and guest experience to align event objectives and ensure seamless execution.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

  • Possesses the ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Players Club/Patron, Opera, VIPR, Cognos 8, SQL, Symposium, APrimo, ORS, E commerce, CTS, and other relevant software

  • Has excellent verbal and written communication skills in English to effectively negotiate and liaise with vendors, collaborate with internal teams, and ensure clear and professional interaction with clients and guests.

  • Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills to function effectively under time constraints and within established deadlines, with particular attention to detail

  • Excellent customer service skills and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all business contacts
