Job Summary

Perform general office duties to support Sales & Marketing (e.g., filing, sending emails, typing, faxing, copying). Prepare sales-related documents throughout the sales process (e.g., proposals, contracts, or banquet event orders). Promote awareness of brand image internally and externally. Gather materials and assemble information packages (e.g., brochures, promotional materials). Use sales techniques that maximize revenue while maintaining existing guest loyalty to Marriott.

Enter, retrieve, reconcile, and verify information (e.g., commissions, leads, third parties) in software involved in the sales process. Answer guest questions about property facilities/services (e.g., hours of operation, rates and room types, packages, promotions, entertainment, restaurants, special events). Serve as the point of contact for clients and communicate with them by phone and email to respond to questions and requests.

Follow all company policies and procedures; ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assets. Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards; anticipate and address guests' service needs; thank guests with genuine appreciation.

Speak with others using clear and professional language; prepare and review written documents accurately and completely; answer telephones using appropriate etiquette. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others; support team to reach common goals; listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees. Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards.

Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.

The Special Events Marketing Coordinator will prepare and execute unique, comprehensive marketing and promotional campaigns for Live Nation Special Events. Additionally, the Marketing Coordinator needs to be able to build strong relationships and communicate with the Special Events team, partners and vendors. This role will serve as a marketing resource to the Special Events team and report to the Senior Marketing Manager. Responsibilities: * Support senior marketing manager with day-to-day activities and projects assigned * Create and present analytical reporting from projects and platforms managed * Work with national team to develop brand marketing materials from concept to graphic design to delivery * Manage field marketing campaign's creative approvals and monitor adoption * Partner with the venues on locally testing and assisting with rolling out lead driving promotions * Maintain and organize an online portal for content * Work with the national marketing team to activate, monitor and measure advertising channels * Oversee maintenance and landing page creation on venue, national, and partner websites * Support onboarding of new venues and sales team members * Serve as the primary liaison between internal team, venues and vendors for organizing photoshoots and virtual tours * Research, synchronize and standardize best practices for the sales cycle, prospecting and lead nurturing * Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure programs are delivered on time * Develop insights and recommendations to target the right campaign, assets and messaging at the right time Qualifications: * 3-5 years' experience of brand building and promotional marketing experience on a national and global brand, with an emphasis on private event marketing * Experience in leveraging media and marketing assets * Strong understanding of Adobe Photoshop and inDesign programs * High proficiency in MS Office, in particular Excel and Powerpoint * Active intellectual curiosity about the field of digital advertising * Detail-oriented and able to coordinate multiple work streams under deadline pressure * Ability to take initiative, problem solve and perform research * The right candidate will possess excellent written and verbal communication skills; exhibit good judgment and exceptional organizational skills. He/she must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, be solutions oriented and have proven skills in multi-tasking while exhibiting patience and flexibility under pressure.
