Special Events Attendant

Provide support to the Arts in the Parks, Special Events, and/or Farmers Market programs through assisting with event and facility logistics.  This includes substantial work with performing arts groups, special events, and facility rentals.

•  Assisting with events and performances at the Normandale Lake Bandshell, Bloomington Civic Plaza, and other parks and venues in Bloomington.

• Providing on-site support of special events and rentals.

• Duties may include substantial public contact and dissemination of program information to participants.

• Ability to lift sound and other equipment a must.

• Superior public communication skills.

• Ability to take on tasks with minimal supervision, and often under fairly tight deadlines.

• Must be at least 16 years of age and have valid drivers license.

• Ability work a variety of hours including nights and occasional weekends

Position to begin in mid to late May, but there is some flexibility in starting date. Job duties to take place at the Normandale Lake Bandshell, Bloomington Civic Plaza, and other venues.
